Evaluation
- Fluently program CNC controllers
- Identify tooling and design fixturing
- Complete standard work
- Aid in project implementation
- Maintain setup sheets and standard work documents
- Create electronic copies of standard work documents
- Make programs and adjustments for CNC machines
- Identify and redirect workstation bottlenecks
- First line trouble shooting for lathes and mills
- Operate and maintain multiple types of lathes and mills
- Assist quality and engineering teams with troubleshooting and new product development
- Coordinate procurement of tooling and fixturing
- Align work centers with production demands
Responsibilities
- Assist or lead the training and development of other machinists
- Partner with production planning to meet production demands
Qualifications
- High School Diploma from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5+ years of reading machining and engineering prints
- Minimum 5+ years of machine set up experience and fixture installation
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
- Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with operating Mazak, Doosan, and Ganesh machines
- Experience programming Fanuc and Mazak controllers and editing G&M code
- Formal technical training or degree in manufacturing trades
- Experience with CAD/CAM and solid modeling software
Skills
- Ability to operate all workstations effectively
- Ability to learn and operate in multiple machine cells
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and any shift as needed
- Ability to assist in process creation and standardization
