About the role

Activités Adds, maintains, deletes users on network according to the guidelines established by the Corporate Network Manager Assists in the implementation and maintenance of network security. Provides end user technical support on industry hardware/software products. Assists in the writing and maintenance of system documentation at both technical and user levels. Performs backup and restore functions for local computers as required. Sets up new hardware/software for end users as directed by company standards. Maintenance of company wide inventory on hardware and software. Helps to insure that corporate computer system is up and running according to schedule. Monitors systems for messages needing a reply and responds appropriately. Assists in the implementation of new hardware/software. Protects the network through virus protection software and obtains/installs updates to that software as needed. Assists in the installation of system upgrades and patches.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry hardware/software products
• Ability to maintain system documentation at both technical and user levels
• Experience with backup and restore functions for local computers
• Experience setting up new hardware/software for end users
• Experience maintaining company wide inventory on hardware and software
• Experience ensuring that corporate computer system is up and running according to schedule
• Experience monitoring systems for messages needing a reply and responding appropriately
• Experience assisting in the implementation of new hardware/software
• Experience protecting the network through virus protection software and obtaining/installing updates to that software as needed
• Experience assisting in the installation of system upgrades and patches
