Programming Job Training Program

About the role

Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program designed for young adults. It offers:

• In-classroom skill development
• Access to internships and/or job placement services
• Personalized coaching and mentorship
• An educational stipend

Responsibilities

Participants in Year Up United will:

• Receive technical and professional training
• Participate in internships with leading organizations such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Lowe's Companies, Inc., or others in the Charlotte area
• Gain professional business and communication skills
• Learn interviewing and networking skills
• Build resumes and receive ongoing support to launch their careers

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or GED recipient
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Not having obtained a Bachelor’s degree
