Pre-Doctoral Psychology Externship

Grow your skills with hands-on experience, expert supervision, and a supportive clinical team.

• Two days per week, ~16 hours total, including some evening hours
• In-person clinical work with up to 8 clients per week
• One hour of individual supervision and one hour of group supervision weekly
• Stipend: $1,500 for the training year
• Fully furnished offices, administrative support, on-site parking
• Individual therapy with children/adolescents
• Training in integrative psychotherapy, with opportunities for supervision with experts in CBT, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and IFS-based therapies
• Opportunities to conduct admissions testing for Emerging Scholars and pro-bono services through partnerships with local shelters
• Access to consultation groups, didactics, and in-house training
• Optional: group therapy, additional assessment, practice management exposure

Post-Doctoral Psychology Residency

Prepare for licensure and advance your clinical skills.

• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule
• 20–25 hours of direct client contact weekly
• Weekly individual and group supervision, plus ongoing didactic training
• Opportunities to tailor caseload to your interests (individual therapy, testing, group therapy)
• Administrative support so you can focus on clinical work
• Salary: $100,000–$120,000 (depending on caseload)

Requirements

• Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship prior to residency start date
• Strong interest and experience working with children, teens, and families
• Openness to collaborative, multidisciplinary work and lifelong learning
