About the Role

M.C. Dean is seeking a Program Support Specialist 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will contribute to a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services. These services include intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Program Management personnel on business and contractual matters, including preparation of proposal responses, project deliverables, reporting, and addressing performance or funding issues.
  • Maintain proposal, project, and contractual documentation, including contract repositories.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and perform related duties as assigned.
  • Serve as the focal point for ongoing issue resolution, including commercial and federal compliance (terms and conditions), acceptance, and payment issues.
  • Administer commercial and U.S. Federal contracts, tracking and documenting change orders based on project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain tracking lists for proposal, deliverable, project, and contract management for team reviews and compliance.
  • Ensure team compliance with project and contract requirements, deliverables, and schedule.
  • Assist the Program Manager in preparing monthly and other financial reports.
  • Organize project, proposal, and contract meetings, and assist in preparing briefs, plans, spreadsheets, and other materials.
  • Prepare documentation for employee permits, security, certification, and travel requests.
  • Design, create, and produce technical documentation, including information sheets, reference guides, briefs, and presentations.
  • Convey complex information to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Document and accurately capture information from meetings, conversations, and presentations.
  • Research, analyze, and cite reference materials from print and online sources.
  • Design professional document templates for internal and external use.
  • Develop schedules, outlines, and templates for proposal and project documentation.
  • Write, edit, and proofread contract materials in response to client requests while meeting deadlines.
  • Conceptualize graphics, figures, tables, and other presentation techniques to optimize information impact.
  • Coordinate and assist with contract and proposal deliverables production, packing, and delivery (hard/soft copy) per RFP requirements.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain public trust level clearance.
  • High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience, or Associate's Degree with 6+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • Experience in professional writing, editing, and document production.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure while managing interruptions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to resolve practical problems.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone, and in writing.
  • Strong multitasking skills and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and customer portals.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience authoring responses to statements of work, staffing plans, past performance sections, management plans, and executive summaries.

Pay

USD $78,000.00 - USD $107,000.00 per year.
