Responsibilities
- Drive Johnstone Supply NJ’s customer sales program initiatives
- Work within the sales operations team to implement all sales and marketing programs, solutions, and enhance the customer communication experience
- Support a collaborative vision in the marketplace and execute that vision
- Communicate and execute revolutionary programs to support and engage customers
Essential Job Functions
- Implement and execute all sales and marketing programs, solutions, and enhance the customer communication experience
- Provide administrative support, perform research, customer follow-up, create reports, and maintain spreadsheets to deliver insights and information regarding markets, competitors, customers, and effectiveness of campaigns and programs
- Process and manage submissions, applications, and documentation for company programs and activities
- Plan and assist with logistical aspects of company programs and activities
- Contribute to internal company communications, including newsletters, memorandums, and documents to all branch team members within the region
- Develop and execute showroom merchandising strategies
- Provide intelligence gathered within the market to support market research for determining brand perceptions, understanding customer needs, evaluating market penetration, and analyzing competitors
Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, communications, or related field/experience, with 1-2 years of applicable experience in marketing, account management, or a business support function
- Familiarity with the HVAC industry and products preferred but not required
- Familiarity with the operation of Microsoft software and ability to work with the MS Office Suite, reporting software, business intelligence, web analytics tools
- Experience with ERP software, a plus
- Excellent English language and grammar, with proven written and verbal communication skills
- Focused, disciplined, and super organized with high level of personal enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Able to maintain momentum on big picture goals and projects and also jump into day-to-day tasks
- Ability to contribute to planning and strategic thinking
- Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
