Job Summary
The Program Supervisor I (PS I) oversees day-to-day program operations at a single Think Together campus, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with organizational and school district guidelines. This role supports a positive student experience and fosters effective communication with school staff, parents, and internal team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise successful day-to-day site operations.
- Ensure all interactions with internal and external stakeholders operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Think Together and align with the four core agreements.
- Directly oversee and support site-level staff, providing coaching, reinforcing training, and ensuring consistent implementation of routines, strategies, and behavior expectations.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff, responding to incidents promptly and following safety protocols.
- Promote engagement and positive behavior throughout program activities.
- Staff Hiring and Performance: Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of site staff. Make recommendations regarding training, discipline, and termination in accordance with HR policies.
- Data and Compliance: Accurately track student attendance and enrollment. Maintain complete and timely program records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Think Together and district policies.
- School and Family Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for school personnel, parents, and other stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with the school principal and faculty to align goals and address student needs.
- Program Quality and Metrics: Monitor student participation, behavior, and learning outcomes. Use data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Meet required program metrics and deliverables.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure timely submission of staff timecards and accurate timekeeping. Attend required virtual or in-person meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.
- Additional Duties: Step into direct service roles when needed to support program continuity. Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) highly preferred
- Combination of education and experience related to position, with increasing responsibility, which may include however, not limited to 1-2 years of experience working in education/youth programs
- At least 1+ year in a supervisory position is required and 2+ years highly preferred
- Previous classroom experience required
- Must meet the minimum qualifications set by the partner district for a classroom instructional aide
- Strong ability to communicate with students, parents, school staff and faculty both verbally and in writing
- Excellent program management skills, including demonstrated record of completing tasks on time
- CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain within first 60 days of hire
- Satisfactory TB skin test
- Passing background check (DOJ & FBI)
