About the role
The Program Supervisor delegates work, assigns duties, and ensures the completion of tasks by direct support staff while supporting the principles and values of self-determination. This position reports directly to the Program Manager and is part of our Lebanon County residential group home program.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the direct supervisor of direct support staff and assists in interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training.
- Participates in the company's on-call system (Community Homes and Community-Based Program Supervisors only).
- Ensures the health, safety, and welfare of individuals within the program.
- Coordinates and ensures the development of schedules, activities, and routines while promoting community-integrated opportunities.
- Transports and/or coordinates transportation for individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments, or community activities.
- Serves as an active member of the service team, coordinating services and communicating relevant information to families and professionals.
- Oversees and maintains records for inventory, including company-owned property and individuals' possessions.
- Accounts for all individual funds and petty cash; maintains adequate supplies for individuals and the home.
- Adheres to the program budget for food, household, and operating supplies.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to a professional code of ethics.
- Performs job responsibilities of direct care staff.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of working experience in programs for individuals with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle for trainings, meetings, and transporting individuals.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Pay
Base rate of $20.00/hr, with increases possible based on relevant IDD experience. Additional shift differentials include:
- $1/hr for awake overnight hours (10 PM to 6 AM).
- $1/hr for weekend hours (Friday at 5 PM to Sunday at 10 PM).
- Some locations may offer an additional $3/hr.
