Program Specialist 2 - Washington State Penitentiary

General Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and maintaining department budgets and resale accounts (including SCP, PELL, and other grants).
• Performs accurate accounting and makes recommendations to the Corrections Education leadership Team on updates or issues with both the corrections education contract budget and the Second Chance Pell and other financial aid funding.
• Prepares clearance forms and memos for visitors and new instructors.
• Solves problems and responds to inquiries requiring substantive knowledge of office/departmental procedures and policies.
• Functions as an education representative.
