About the role
The Program Planner position within the FBM Life Extension 2 Program at Lockheed Martin Space in Englewood, CO is seeking a candidate with strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will support the team in developing, monitoring, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), ensuring compliance with program performance management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, statuses, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in order to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner
- Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses, and forecasting objectives
- Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues that arise, communicate schedule impacts, and propose corrective actions to applicable program partners
- Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to execution of the Program Schedule
- Present schedule information to Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Management
- Establish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Earned Value Management
- Experience analyzing data
- Experience with Deltek Open Plan or similar program planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, etc)
- Strong presentation skills to communicate with the Customer
