Responsibilities
- Coordinate all cost and schedule activity related to system hardware production on behalf of the Program Office.
- Cookordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of TCOM according to production schedule.
- Demonstrate highest levels of proficiency in all planning functions and possess sufficient knowledge of and familiarity with planning, cost movements and material control procedures.
- Generate, review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
- Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
- Pricing and estimating costs for proposal efforts, earned value inputs for all assigned programs.
- Compile reports on progress of work, forecast and maintain required inventory levels, costs, and devise solutions to production problems.
- Coordinate and lead other lower classified planners.
Qualifications
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience Requirement: Five years as a Senior Production and Material Control Planner, or equivalent. Minimum of twelve years’ experience in manufacturing.
