About the role
AHL Healthcare Group provides adult foster care services in 4-bedroom residential settings. Program Coordinators advocate, support, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they live in the least restrictive environment and have access to fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with program licensing requirements
- Hire, train, and coordinate staff
- Supervise staff and develop training/meetings
- Plan and implement client behavioral management and support
- Oversee operational facets of the program
- Support residents in achieving personal goals and living happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services and 1 year full-time (FT) work experience
- Associate degree in a field related to human services and 2 years FT work experience
- Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and 3 years FT work experience
- Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and 4 years FT work experience under supervision of a qualified individual
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and have completed high school or equivalent
- Pass MVR check, maintain a valid driver’s license, and have vehicle insurance
- Pass state background check clearance
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Possess sight/hearing senses or use of prosthetic service that enables these senses to function adequately
- Read, write, speak English fluently, and use a computer with minimal training
- Work independently and with a team, make independent decisions, and use good judgment
- Organize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
- Show reliability, dependability, and flexibility
