About the role
The Program Coordinator for the Addiction Studies Program within the School of Social Work provides comprehensive administrative, technical, and programmatic support to the Addiction Studies programs. This position serves as a central point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive administrative, technical, and programmatic support to the Addiction Studies programs.
- Serves as a central point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Coordinates student practicum and internship processes.
- Supports admissions and advising efforts.
- Coordinates special projects and events.
- Ensures smooth implementation, compliance, communication, and student success across all program areas.
- Works closely with Program Director(s).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a higher education setting, preferably in a program coordinator role.
- Experience with student services, including admissions, advising, and program coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of addiction studies principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
- Knowledge of best practices in higher education administration and student support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
- Experience with student information systems (SIS).

Pay
$50,000 - $55,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
