About the role

The Safe Families For Children and Hearts For Seniors Program Coordinator will oversee program implementation, supervise staff, and coordinate emergency support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of SFFC and HFS Program Budgets
  • Seek out potential revenue sources
  • Lead planning and development of special events
  • Supervise, train, and support county-level program staff
  • Oversee volunteer teams and coordinate emergency support
  • Maintain electronic tracking/reporting of volunteer information
  • Ensure program fidelity and compliance with agency policies
  • Develop and implement regular in-service trainings
  • Network with community resource providers
  • Maintain file maintenance and essential documents
  • Participate in quality assurance/quality improvement activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with at-risk children and families, preferably in a leadership capacity
  • Proficient with MS Office suite including Excel, Word, Access
  • Experience public speaking in various settings

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education or related field
  • Experience recruiting, training, supervising and mobilizing volunteers
  • Experience collaborating with faith-based organizations

  • Proficient and timely using and maintaining documentation electronically
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational/time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain thorough and accurately electronic documentation and files
  • Personal initiative and integrity
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Dependability, reliability and accountability
  • Proficiency and comfort with technology

Other Requirements

  • Valid Oregon driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
  • Able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Pass a pre-employment ODHS Child Welfare background check
  • Support Mission, Vision and Values of HWAM and SFFC

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000

Schedule

Full time (40 hours per week)
