Program Operations Manager

About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Program Operations Manager for the RAM GMLS Program. This role serves as the primary interface between the GMLS Program Office Integrated Program Leadership Team and the Factory Leadership Team, ensuring all program requirements are communicated and supported.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all operations team cost, schedule, and quality for RAM GMLS manufacturing and operations scope
• Coordinate Operations bids for new factory-facing proposals
• Manage the coordination and execution of manufacturing schedules with Global Supply Chain Management, Subcontracts, Engineering and other functional areas to support on time delivery
• Support Manufacturing Operations strategy and utilize CORE best practices
• Interface with internal and external customers to understand needs and issues, ensuring the customers receive satisfactory standards of service
• Define clear operational schedules, priorities & goals for each Strategic Make Center

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• Previous leadership position in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning system
• Experience managing manufacturing plans and maintaining integrated schedules in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
• Active and transferable Secret Clearance U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or Estimates at Completion (EAC’s)
• Previous leadership position in a fast paced technical or manufacturing environment that included multiple working organizations
• Extensive experience building strong cross-functional teams with proven results
• Experience with Manufacturing Data Products and Manufacturing Systems as a whole to execute a contract
• Problem solving abilities that bridge production realities to financial commitments
• Experience with proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOE's)
