Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, leadership, and teambuilding skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively, with full transparency, in alignment with Client and Program requirements.
- Manage the Scheduling team, providing guidance and support while assisting with reviews of cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.
- Collaborate seamlessly across multiple projects, with strong awareness of on-site construction activities (high-rise work) to ensure accurate and timely updates to the Program Master Schedule.
- Develop, update, and maintain the Program Master Schedule.
- Prepare monthly schedule narrative reports, including analysis of monthly findings, identification of schedule impacts, and recommendations for corrective action plans to mitigate or avoid cost and/or schedule overruns.
- Monitor, review, and report the Program Master Schedule status to the Client and Executive Management Team.
- Be proficient in PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare, explain, and present scheduling findings in meetings with the Client, A/E representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Develop “what-if” scenarios, mitigation schedules, look-ahead schedules, and perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA).
- Identify schedule risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to proactively mitigate potential project delays.
- Conduct change orders by validating schedule impacts.
- Perform estimation reviews to confirm assumptions and constructability.
- Participate on modification request analysis by developing impact narratives, identifying dependencies, and supporting timely approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Architecture and/or Construction management
- 12 - 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling / project controls / program controls
- Experience on multiple sides of the business (i.e., Consultant, Owner, Owner Representative, Architect, Contractor, Engineer)
- Experience in Vertical Construction (Highrise Buildings)
- Experience with Value Management & Reporting
- Experience in claims defense & prevention (TIA)
- Field Experience, Preferred
- BIM and Risk analysis knowledge a plus
- DBIA and CCM credentials a plus
