Program Master Scheduler
About the role
Textron Systems is seeking a Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs in the Weapons Systems business segment. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Integrated Master Plans/Schedules, assisting in program baselines, managing and reporting on schedule performance, and supporting Earned Value Management processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Plan/Schedule compliant to DIDs, PASEG, GASP, and WBS standards.
- Aid in the development of program baselines, including resource assignment, earned value methods, and contract budget baseline verification.
- Hold meetings with Program Managers, Contract Administration Managers, and Work Package Managers to obtain monthly accomplishments and future requirements.
- Establish logic, predecessors, and successors to develop an accurate critical path for a program.
- Develop, update, and maintain schedule performance metrics, related processes, and management tools within business units, including critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
- Advise the Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts, and risks.
- Ensure integration and synchronization of cost and schedule EVM data.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) process reviews.
Qualifications
- 6 years’ experience in scheduling within engineering development and/or manufacturing operations, or other similar experience.
- Demonstrated success in planning, developing, baselining, and tracking schedules for commercial and DoD programs.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Deltek OpenPlan.
- Proven working knowledge and understanding of advanced scheduling methodologies and techniques.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or another related field is preferred.
- Experience with implementing, tracking, and reporting schedule performance/Earned Value.
- Ability to derive, interpret, and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to senior leadership.
- Experience with Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface effectively across the organization.
- Familiarity with schedules in an MRP/ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, BAAN, etc.).
- Possession or ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
Salary Range
$80,600 - $121,600
