Program Manager, Solutions Architecture (GTM Transformation)
About the role
The Solutions Architecture (SA) org aims to be a destination pre-sales organization of world-class technical sellers who set and raise the bar in our interactions with Stripe users. Our goal is to drive Stripe's long-term revenue growth as trusted technical advisors to users and partners and reliable voice of the user to Stripe Product. The Solutions Architecture Strategic Programs team is a small, high-impact team within SA that partners with global SA leadership to design and deliver programs that address the org's most strategic priorities (i.e. "Big Rocks") and time-sensitive business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Independently scope, design, deliver, and iterate on high-priority global programs that address SA's most strategic priorities, owning outcomes end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Partner with SA leadership and SA Enablement to define and scale repeatable frameworks and shared standards of pre-sales excellence by segment and motion and drive adoption through manager training and coaching
- Use data to identify organizational gaps, set program priorities, measure impact, and build the case for investment or change across SA leadership and cross-functional partners
- Lead change management planning and execution for org-wide programs — including communication, enablement, and operational rigor — ensuring SA managers and ICs adopt new behaviors durably
- Navigate competing priorities across a broad GTM stakeholder map — including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Developer Relations, and Channel partners — to align cross-functional teams around programs that drive measurable improvement in SA effectiveness and user impact
- Act as a resource and thought partner to SA leadership and peers, sharing knowledge, identifying and raising risks early, and contributing to a higher collective bar for program design and change management in the org
Requirements
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
- 7+ years of experience in GTM program management, business operations, management consulting, or a related discipline
- Proven track record of independently leading complex, cross-functional global programs from scoping through delivery in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Strong data fluency — able to synthesize data from multiple sources, develop independent hypotheses, and translate insights into clear decisions and recommendations for senior audiences
- Demonstrated experience leading change management for large organizations, including communication planning, stakeholder alignment, and adoption measurement
- Skilled at influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority across all levels, from individual contributors to executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; consistently sets a high bar for clarity, concision, and audience-appropriate framing
- Experience working within or directly supporting a Sales or technical pre-sales organization — familiarity with how field teams operate, how deals move, and what drives behavior change in a field org
- Experience building or codifying GTM playbooks, sales excellence frameworks, or motion-specific best practices
- Experience designing and driving field enablement programs with measurable adoption outcomes
- Experience working with or alongside developer relations, partner, or channel organizations in a GTM context
- Experience in fintech, payments, or SaaS
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, or similar GTM tooling and data platforms such as Looker or Tableau
Qualifications
The role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
- Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users.
- A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.
