Program Manager - Program Integration (Wright-Patterson AFB OH)

About the role

You will provide acquisition program management support to the USAF Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Fighters and Advanced Aircraft (PAE Fighters) at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. This is a full-time on-site position without a telework option.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in independently applying/demonstrating proficiency in various project/program initiatives.
• Assist in investigating, analyzing, planning, designing, developing, implementing, or evaluating solutions for project/program efforts.
• Assist in providing expert-level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes and have specialized expertise to include the following functional areas: program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, test, security management, information management, and contracting.
• Assist in building and maintaining business relationships between the program office, supporting Government offices, other contractors, USAF AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, Air Combat Command (ACC), AFGSC, and higher headquarters' mid-to-upper-level staff, to support the F/B Capability Plans and Programs for the various platforms.
• Participate in and represent the interests of the F/B portfolio of programs in the Service Core Function process.
• Afford support to the analysis of war fighter requirements with ACC and AFGSC and serve as key advisor to Capability Planning leadership on mission critical capability needs.
• Afford support to the preparation and review of pertinent data, coordination with applicable managers, and finalization of related documentation/information for verbal and visual presentation of the plan status at meetings as required.
• Support analytic identification of needs and development of requirements for potential materiel solutions.
• Afford support to the initiation of high confidence acquisition programs via early systems engineering, early test and evaluation strategy development, technology and manufacturing maturity, assessments of life-cycle analyses, lifecycle cost estimates, and early acquisition intelligence engagement.
• Afford support to the identification and solving of problems and aid in the influence of science and technology investment decisions.
• Afford support to the development and execution of a collaborative process bridging warfighter-identified capability needs to plan for acquisition of materiel solutions.
• Afford support to the trade-space evaluation of emerging capability needs, including system-of-systems assessments.
• Afford support to the identification and assessment of technology maturity and risk drivers and incorporate comprehensive lifecycle planning to include pre-concept through disposal in support of future program technical needs.
• Afford support to the application of expertise of the acquisition process and all areas relating to acquisition policy matters, including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices and lessons learned, to assigned projects.
• Afford support to the execution of a collaborative process bridging warfighter identified capability needs to include: planning for acquisition of materiel solutions, supporting the trade-space evaluation of emerging capability needs, include system-of-systems assessments, identifying and assessing technology maturity and risk drivers, and incorporating comprehensive life-cycle planning to include pre-concept through disposal in support of future program technical needs with the IPT and cross-cutting stakeholders’ joint coordination.
• Afford support and representation of F/B interests in TIMs and working groups, serve as a liaison between user requirements and organic engineering activity and engage in Collaborative Capability Team activities.
• Afford support and conduct studies and analysis of tradeoffs for incorporation of potential capabilities in future platform capabilities.
• Afford support to the identification and development of life cycle capabilities to meet future needs and/or reduce lifecycle costs.
• Afford support to the analytic identification of needs and development of requirements for potential materiel solutions, initiation of high confidence acquisition programs via early systems engineering, early test and evaluation strategy development, technology and manufacturing maturity, assessments of life-cycle analyses, lifecycle cost estimates, and early acquisition intelligence engagement.
• Afford support to the independent application and demonstration of proficiency in various project/program initiatives.
• Afford support to the investigation, analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, or evaluation of solutions for project/program efforts.
• Afford support to the provision of expert-level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes and have specialized expertise to include the following functional areas: program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, test, security management, information management, and contracting.
• Afford support to the provision of capability planning including but not limited to technology solution sets, strategy, cost savings, and sustainment in support of the F/B portfolio of programs.

Required Skills

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• A minimum of 5 years managing F-15 programs in a DoD acquisition environment.
• Be very knowledgeable on the F-15 weapon system.
• Program Management experience on fighter aircraft program(s) and fighter aircraft PMO(s).

Active DoD/DoW Secret clearance required on the First Day of employment.
