Aurora is seeking a Program Manager, People Team to join our dynamic and innovative team. This role requires a proven ability to translate business problems into rigorous project charters, navigate ambiguity, connect the dots between the People team and the broader business, and master change management.
Responsibilities
- Drive Program Strategy & Execution: Translate loose concepts into project charters, define "what, why, and how," manage timelines, and ensure cross-functional teams deliver on objectives.
- Navigate Ambiguity: Enter chaotic situations, identify missing pieces, and create structure where there was none.
- Connect the Dots: Serve as the "glue" between the People team and the broader business, align stakeholders, flag risks early, and prevent silo formation.
- Master Change Management: Design communication plans, messaging, and adoption strategies to ensure distributed workforce embraces changes implemented.
- Continuously Improve: Have a continuous improvement mindset and continuously seek ways to improve processes while delivering on programs and projects.
- Force Multiply: Make everyone around you more effective by removing blockers, streamlining processes, and ensuring meetings are decisive and actionable.
Requirements
- Proven Program Fluency: Experience managing complex programs in a high-growth environment, typically 4+ years.
- High Agency & Accountability: Track, prioritize, and drive projects without needing constant reminders.
- Communication Range: Discuss strategy with senior leaders and coordinate logistics, synthesizing complex data into clear narratives, and providing clear written and verbal communications.
- Tech & Data Savviness: Comfortable with project management tools (Monday.com, Jira), able to use data to inform decisions, and familiar with HR systems (Workday, Greenhouse).
- "Impact" Mindset: Excited by variety and opportunity for impact, willing to dive into different Talent Management and Culture initiatives.

Benefits

- Base salary range: $100k - $162k per year.

Pay
- The base salary range for this position is $100k - $162k per year.
- Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
- Starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions.
Schedule
- This is an in-person position requiring in-office days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
- The position can be located in Mountain View, CA or Pittsburgh, PA.
