Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to enhance nursing excellence, culture, professional development, and evidence-based practice within the Behavioral Health Service Line.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, quality, accreditation, and IT teams to align metrics with organizational goals, utilizing data to improve clinical practice, patient outcomes, safety, and workflow.
- Oversee change management, NDNQI data reporting, develop annual nursing reports, and contribute to accreditation-related budget planning.
- Manage the Behavioral Health Nurse Residency Program, ensuring a supported, evidence-based transition for new nurses into mental health roles.
- Work closely with senior nursing leaders to translate nursing-sensitive data into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of safety and continuous practice enhancement.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in nursing
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR or RQI certification
- 3–5 years of behavioral healthcare experience
