Program Manager, Nursing Academic Affiliations

About the Role

The Program Manager, Nursing Academic Affiliations, oversees clinical placements for undergraduate and graduate nursing students, fosters collaborations with academic partners, and promotes nurses' professional development. They coordinate student placements, manage affiliation agreements, and evaluate clinical instructors to ensure quality clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with nursing schools, coordinate communication, and oversee student clinical placements.
• Lead review and approval of clinical placement applications, maintain records, and manage databases.
• Oversee Master Affiliation Agreements and address issues during rotations.
• Guide student projects, participate in research, and advocate for nursing professional growth.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing; Doctorate preferred.
• Current Illinois nursing license and specialty certification; BLS, ACLS, or NRP as applicable.
• Minimum five years of experience in nursing organizations.
