Program Manager, Nursing Academic Affiliations

About the role

Coordinate clinical placements for nursing students, maintain relationships with academic partners, oversee affiliation agreements, and promote professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage student placements, review applications, and oversee clinical group assignments
• Ensure timely communication with academic partners and clinical sites
• Evaluate clinical instructors and resolve issues during rotations
• Maintain records and databases related to placements and agreements
• Handle affiliation agreements and renewals
• Advocate for nurse education and research initiatives

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Current Illinois nursing licensure
• Specialty certification in relevant area
• Minimum five years of experience in nursing organizations
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as applicable
