About the role

The Program Manager serves as the primary interface between the customer and the client. This role oversees all aspects of assigned customer accounts, including revenue performance, profitability, order intake, and overall customer care. The Program Manager ensures alignment across internal teams, drives program execution, and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the customer relationship and supporting development of new opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to client leadership on account status, opportunities, risks, issues, and forward-looking plans.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership across the organization to maximize short- and long-term account potential.
  • Lead the Customer Focused Team to address issues, opportunities, and urgent hot spots quickly and effectively.
  • Own execution of pricing, scheduling, and cross-company communication plans to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Communicate schedules, milestones, and progress to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Maintain full financial responsibility for product profitability, including PPV, gross margin, material liability, account-specific costs, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Limit liability by managing contract requirements such as pricing and inventory.
  • Conduct internal and external business reviews to maintain alignment and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and develop new business expansion opportunities within the customer’s organization.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support program needs, relationship management, and operational execution.
  • Support Global Account Managers in preparing quarterly and annual business plans.
  • Maintain accurate and current Salesforce data for all assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or two to four years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to analyze reports and documentation, write clear business materials, and present information effectively.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Able to collect and analyze data, solve practical problems, and interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Proficient in standard office software including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation tools, browsers, email platforms, and business-systems software.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • Travel required 10%–20% to support business needs.
