Program Manager III

About the Role

The Program Manager III leads multiple concurrent projects focused on improving program efficiency, service levels, and regulatory compliance. This role coordinates enterprise responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations by managing cross-functional teams, establishing structured response processes, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with organizational priorities. The position strengthens regulatory readiness while advancing operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service levels, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, and business leaders to track regulatory requests, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Establish and maintain processes, tracking tools, and document repositories for managing regulatory responses.
• Develop strategies to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
• Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Apply standard project and program management methodologies to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including action items, issue logs, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Prepare project status summaries, presentations, and communications for stakeholders and leadership.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate project risks.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to establish alignment, clarify responsibilities, and maintain progress toward organizational objectives.
• Coordinate activities across multiple business and functional teams to ensure consistent and timely regulatory responses.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge related to program requirements, operations, and regulatory initiatives.
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project implementation, product management, program management, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage regulatory or compliance-driven initiatives in a complex environment.
• Experience in managed care or prescription benefit management preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% for in-person meetings at designated locations.
• Comfortable working in a flexible remote, hybrid, field, or office environment.

Pay

Annual salary range of $87,700–$157,800.
