Program Manager I

Your Key Responsibilities

• The Program Manager I is responsible for being the technical interface between Schaeffler and the customer and is held accountable for ensuring profitability, timing, and performance of projects.
• This position must bring parties together to ensure the success of a project and assertively react if profitability, timing, or performance is threatened.
• The Program Manager I is expected to extremely responsive to customer requests and must act quickly and decisively.
• The Program Manager I documents agreements, customer needs, feedback and requests and transparently shares this information with the team.
• Act as escalation point of contact within defined escalation paths.
• This position must be able to drive agreements in real time. Travel is required for this position.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3 or more years of automotive engineering experience.
• Advanced engineering & physics knowledge.
• Practical and applicable knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Leadership ability and delegation skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make recommendations and decisions.
• Ability to influence while being open to technical feedback.
