ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Works with Program Director to ensure compliance and delivery of program goals and objectives.
- Facilitates and monitors effective day-to-day delivery of services.
- Provides assessment and decision-making skills needed to manage the program and any associated issues on a daily basis.
- Manages assigned budget, monitoring costs and allocation of resources in collaboration with Director.
- Schedules, attends and participates in agency, team, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Schedules, attends and participates in psychoeducational groups as indicated to support client growth and lifeskill development.
- Maintains company vehicles in good working condition and completes periodic maintenance inspections work orders as necessary, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and operation.
- Maintains property to ensure building/office is welcoming upon entrance and works with team to promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment for both staff and clients.
- Processes timely work orders with Facilities as necessary.
- Prepares and ensure compliance with Quality and Chart audits, Billing audits.
- Maintains benchmark guidelines and develops action plans as identified.
- Ensures continuity of care for delivery of services.
- Supervises program admissions, planning, and discharge processes.
- Facilitates coordination with other agencies and community services ensuring appropriate client care.
- Makes sure documentation of services and the collection of data for contracted/agency reporting is done accurately.
- Responds to crisis situations and provides appropriate interventions, de escalation, and debriefing.
- Provides rotating on-call coverage.
- Recruits, selects, and hires staff.
- Documents supervision and performance evaluations consistently with agency policy.
- Trains new staff and addresses concerns with staff or other professionals constructively and in a timely fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Single Site Program Manager: Requires oversight and management of one assigned program.
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent may be considered if they possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field and (2) two to (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Prior experience working with people with mental illness, addiction disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities is required.
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s license is required.
- Scattered site and non-24 hr. program positions require the employee to maintain reliable transportation and be willing to transport clients in personal vehicles.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.
