Program Manager - FT 40 hrs Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM - Serenity House

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Works with Program Director to ensure compliance and delivery of program goals and objectives.
• Facilitates and monitors effective day-to-day delivery of services.
• Provides assessment and decision-making skills needed to manage the program and any associated issues on a daily basis.
• Manages assigned budget, monitoring costs and allocation of resources in collaboration with Director.
• Schedules, attends and participates in agency, team, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Schedules, attends and participates in psychoeducational groups as indicated to support client growth and lifeskill development.
• Maintains company vehicles in good working condition and completes periodic maintenance inspections work orders as necessary, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and operation.
• Maintains property to ensure building/office is welcoming upon entrance and works with team to promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment for both staff and clients.
• Processes timely work orders with Facilities as necessary.
• Prepares and ensure compliance with Quality and Chart audits, Billing audits.
• Maintains benchmark guidelines and develops action plans as identified.
• Ensures continuity of care for delivery of services.
• Supervises program admissions, planning, and discharge processes.
• Facilitates coordination with other agencies and community services ensuring appropriate client care.
• Makes sure documentation of services and the collection of data for contracted/agency reporting is done accurately.
• Responds to crisis situations and provides appropriate interventions, de escalation, and debriefing.
• Provides rotating on-call coverage.
• Recruits, selects, and hires staff.
• Documents supervision and performance evaluations consistently with agency policy.
• Trains new staff and addresses concerns with staff or other professionals constructively and in a timely fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Single Site Program Manager: Requires oversight and management of one assigned program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent may be considered if they possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field and (2) two to (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Prior experience working with people with mental illness, addiction disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities is required.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s license is required.
• Scattered site and non-24 hr. program positions require the employee to maintain reliable transportation and be willing to transport clients in personal vehicles.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.
