(Overview & Key Responsibilities)

The EQA Program Manager provides surveillance and oversight of Delta’s approved Maintenance Providers to ensure they comply with Delta’s CAMP and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates Maintenance Providers' ability to return airworthy articles/aircraft to Delta Air Lines based on factual evaluations.
  • Performs historical research and in-process audits at various levels of repair, identifying gaps and ensuring corrective actions are effective.
  • Ensures compliance with Delta specifications, FAA/NAA regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers and maintenance providers at all levels, including executive management.
  • Supports leadership initiatives and maintains a strong team concept to meet demanding schedules.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Power Plant license required.
  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience in aircraft, component, or engine maintenance.
  • Able to obtain a passport and all required visas.
  • Up to 80% travel possible, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to attain CASE Level III authorization.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Performing satisfactorily in current position.
  • Willingness to be vaccinated as required.
  • Prioritizes safety and security.
  • Embraces diversity.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with SAP, SCEPTRE, LMOS, Documentum, GEM/MIRS.
  • Thorough understanding of Delta’s CAMP and applicable Code of Federal Regulations, Orders, and Notices.
  • Working knowledge of SMS and experience with SRA, and Human Factors.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical background in Delta’s maintenance practices, organization, and procedures.
  • Proven leadership experience and skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic and tactical plans for a safety-conscious environment.
  • Quality/Control or Quality Assurance experience.
