Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support program transition from proposal to execution and baselining activities across the enterprise as a subject matter expert.
- Be subject matter expert for PM PALs and assist with the development of PM training and mentoring to develop PM talent.
- Lead the development of PM process improvements and data integration efforts to develop a more efficient PM process and toolset.
- Coordinate with Program Excellence Risk & Opportunity management process lead to ensure overall program integration and reporting of total program performance.
- Support the Director, Program Excellence in the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting progress of the Program Excellence Improvement Plan.
- Work with Director, Program Excellence to assess, develop, and enhance program management tools & data analytics to include dashboard creation.
- Career Development: Assist with Program Gate reviews to ensure risk mitigation and program planning is sufficient to delivery within the financial and schedule constraints of the program.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline.
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in aerospace and defense systems or program environment is required.
Preferred Skills
- Project/Program Management Experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Managing data in a shared environment such as Teams or SharePoint.
- Ease at managing schedule conflicts for senior levels of management.
- Dashboard creation and data analytics.
Security Responsibilities
- Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
- Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
- Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know.
- Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.
- All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Physical Demands
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
Work Environment
- Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.
- The employee is on call 24x7 for the resolution of problems and issues.
