Program Manager, Denied Party Screening (DPS), DPS Onboarding and Business Integration
About the role
The Program Manager will lead projects related to Denied Party Screening (DPS), DPS Onboarding, and Business Integration. This role supports various areas of Amazon's business, enabling compliance with regulations and managing sanctions risk.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage projects from beginning to end, including project scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
- Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify issues, and devise contingency plans.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, risk-based prioritization, and critical paths.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.
- Work independently and remain flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate with DPS management, tech, operations, Amazon Legal, and multiple other teams in the development of project management standards and other efforts that enable operations and manage risk.
- Lead end-to-end project management to improve denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance customer and business needs versus resource constraints.
- Support several different areas of the business to deliver value to the customer, manage sanctions risk, and track and drive the timeline of multiple projects.
- Communicate effectively across onsite and remote teams globally to coordinate project execution and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
