Program Manager, CAPEX

Responsibilities

Due Diligence:

• Prepare detailed CAPEX analyses, summaries, and presentation materials for leadership and executive reviews
• Consolidate inputs from Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain into clear, decision-ready outputs
• Support the Director in capital planning cycles, reviews, and steering meetings

CAPEX Tracking & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed tracking of CAPEX requests, approvals, forecasts, and actual spend
• Produce regular reports on budget vs. actuals, project status, risks, and variances
• Affirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency of CAPEX data across systems and reports
• Aid in building and validating business cases, including ROI, NPV, payback, and cost-benefit analyses
• Work with Finance to ensure alignment between capital plans, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Support post-implementation reviews by gathering data and documenting outcomes

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Act as a liaison between project owners, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams
• Follow up on open actions, data gaps, and approvals to keep capital processes moving
• Support standardization of templates, documentation, and workflows across CAPEX projects
• Support improvement of CAPEX governance processes, tools, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in program management, CAPEX, finance, operations, or analytics
• Strong attention to detail with solid financial and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfort working with large datasets

PREFERRED:

• MBA or Master’s degree
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, facilities, or capital-intensive environments
