Program Manager, AWS Advertising and Social Media
Description
The AWS Global Brand Team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Campaign Program Manager to support the Developer Marketing team as an embedded brand resource. This role brings brand knowledge—positioning, narrative, creative consistency, and brand governance—to marketing initiatives targeting the global developer audience. Sitting at the intersection of brand and developer marketing, you will help ensure that developer touchpoints reflect a consistent, compelling, and differentiated AWS brand experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Support the brand lead in delivering brand excellence for the Developer Marketing team’s programs.
- Contribute to creative reviews, help maintain brand guidelines, and assist in ensuring campaigns align with AWS brand positioning and voice.
- Help maintain and update brand positioning documents, messaging frameworks, and creative guidelines specific to developer audiences.
- Prepare brand review materials for the Developer Advocate team and Developer Marketing leads.
- Track creative assets for consistency and flag alignment issues.
- Contribute to creative brainstorms and bring brand perspective to marketing approaches—helping identify where brand guidelines apply and where there is room for creative exploration.
- Track brand health metrics and compile creative quality reports for developer marketing initiatives, supporting senior leads with data gathering and analysis.
- Aid in coordinating with partner teams (Developer Marketing, Events, Advertising, Social) to ensure brand coherence across touchpoints.
- Provide brand-related guidance and asset reviews to Campaign Project Managers (CPMs).
- Seek mentorship and learning opportunities to deepen brand strategy expertise; participate in brand training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, communications, or creative roles
- 1+ years in a brand coordinator, marketing associate, or creative support role in an agency, brand team, or in-house environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to cross-functional campaigns or creative projects with multiple stakeholders
- Foundational understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and creative consistency principles
- Experience supporting marketing execution across at least one of: digital, social, experiential, or content channels
Cross-Cutting Responsibilities
- Support brand consistency across the developer marketing portfolio by conducting creative reviews and flagging potential brand misalignment.
- Assist with brand evaluation and creative quality reviews, working alongside senior leads, Developer Relations, Creative, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain brand guidelines, positioning documents, and messaging architecture for the developer audience; assist in keeping them current as brand strategy evolves.
- Contribute to cadenced reporting and narratives (MBR, QBR) by gathering brand performance data and preparing supporting materials.

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
