About the Role
Work-Fit is seeking a full-time Program Manager and Certified Athletic Trainer for an industrial setting in Wentzville, MO. The role focuses on prevention, early symptom intervention, and ergonomic support. Ergonomic training will be provided. This is a first shift position with schedule flexibility requested by the customer.
Responsibilities
- Policy and Procedures: Maintain a safe, secure, and professional work environment by communicating and enforcing policies, procedures, and role expectations. Ensure quality service by understanding, teaching, and enforcing Work-Fit and client organization policies. Maintain and understand the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual.
- Business Planning: Establish strategic goals that align Work-Fit services and resources with customer needs through research. Identify and evaluate trends, presenting actionable plans to create a unified vision for service delivery. Manage an annual budget, review and forecast monthly, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Program Measurement: Document all service interactions in Work-Fit and client record management databases following policies and quality practices. Conduct quality reviews of record management and implement action plans for continuous improvement. Develop and review the Work-Fit scorecard within agreed-upon timeframes with client leadership.
- Team Member Development: Recruit, select, onboard, and train employees following Work-Fit processes. Conduct team member and customer interviews to plan, monitor, and appraise job performance. Coach, counsel, and discipline team members on professionalism and performance. Assist in creating personal professional growth plans aligned with customer service needs.
- Delivery of Work-Fit Services: Make health personal by delivering the agreed-upon scope of services in accordance with the SOP.
- Customer Relations: Conduct regular (no longer than 90 days apart) customer interviews to assess the impact of Work-Fit services. Integrate with the customer by participating in meetings and committees.
- Professional Development: Stay current with policies, credentialing, and laws governing professional practice. Advance professional and technical knowledge through workshops, certifications, courses, publications, networking, and benchmarking.
- Program Marketing: Develop a marketing plan for integrating and advancing Work-Fit services. Create and deliver marketing materials and presentations. Proactively foster a culture of personal health through educational materials.
- Facility/Office Management: Ensure the security of sensitive records (hard copy and digital). Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area. Coordinate with the client for facility maintenance. Ensure equipment is in safe working order and calibrations are conducted as specified.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Work-Fit or customer-specified health field.
- Applicable state licensure as an Athletic Trainer or eligibility for state licensure.
- Maintain CPR/AED certification.
- Three years of professional experience in the specified health field.
- Exceptional ability to engage employees in an occupational environment.
- Strong written (including proper grammar and spelling) and oral communication skills for individual and group settings.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet daily and weekly responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online research.
- Proficiency with Athletic Training Systems (ATS), Twin Oaks, and client databases (as applicable).
- Comfortable delivering services in various environments such as manufacturing, warehousing, office, and outdoors.

Reporting
Program Managers will communicate with the Vice President of Operations regarding program operations. The direct report will be detailed in the Work-Fit Job Offer. Program Managers will also consult with the Work-Fit Operations Team, other Program Managers, and key client contacts, including leadership in Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Medical, Wellness, and Client Management.
Pay
$30.29 - $33.60/hour
