About the Organization
The Legacy Project of Stark County, founded in 2015, is dedicated to mentoring students and connecting families with caring adult role models who walk alongside them to encourage growth and build confidence. Through weekly school-based mentoring groups and dynamic community center programs, the organization creates safe, supportive spaces where relationships deepen and practical life skills develop. The Legacy Project works in close partnership with local schools, foundations, community organizations, businesses, and individuals to expand its reach and impact. Its mission centers on empowering students to dream bigger and equipping parents and caregivers with real-life tools, ensuring that no one has to navigate challenges alone.
