Program Manager

About the role
Support the Executive Director (ED) in managing Cyber Security portfolio initiatives, including project intake, governance, and reporting. You may focus on the local NY program or head-office-related programs, acting as a liaison with HO counterparts.
Responsibilities
- Manage the intake process for new Cyber program and project requests, ensuring requests are appropriately documented, scoped, and routed for review.
- Support prioritization of intake against portfolio capacity and strategic objectives, providing recommendations to the CISO for final approval.
- Produce Cyber portfolio-level reporting, consolidating status, risk, budget, and delivery metrics for the CISO, Cyber Security Towers leads, and other senior stakeholders.
- Provide governance checks on program artifacts (charters, plans, RAID logs, status reports) to confirm completeness, quality, and adherence to TDO standards prior to distribution.
- Share updates and information with senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering major cross-functional initiatives at large, complex financial institutions, including structuring initiatives, project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge and experience in regulatory change management.
- Experience managing Cyber or Information Security program/project intake and prioritization processes, including working with a CISO or equivalent senior security stakeholder to obtain approval.
- Experience producing portfolio-level reporting for executive audiences and performing governance and quality checks on program artifacts.
- Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience working across multiple functions, committees, and areas.
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral, with technical and non-technical staff.
- Solid knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
- Tolerance and understanding of multicultural environments.
Pay
Expected base salary ranges from $111,000 to $160,000. Offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, certifications, licenses, market factors, and organizational considerations. Successful candidates are also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Schedule
Mizuho offers a hybrid working program with varying opportunities for remote work, depending on the role, department needs, and local laws. Some departments may require greater in-office presence, which will be communicated during the recruitment process.
