Program Manager
About the role
Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Program Manager to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The customer may need support as needed at other locations: Warrenton, VA, Atlantic City, NJ, Melbourne, FL, Oklahoma, OK and Leesburg, VA. Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contract effort.
- Act as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives regarding technical and programmatic issues.
- Oversee all program/project operations, including developing procedures, planning activities, and directing the execution of technical, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts.
- Monitor and report program/project progress, identifying risks and ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage acquisition and utilization of program resources to achieve project goals.
- Oversee financial and administrative aspects of the program to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to program/project staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience managing technical programs or projects and supervising staff activities.
- At least three (3) years of Government contracting experience within the 15 years of relevant experience is required.
- Active project or program management certification such as: Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Equivalent program/project management certification.
