About The Role
The Program Manager drives the execution of critical cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, and operations. This role focuses on scaling complex technical infrastructure and system migrations by establishing clear milestones, tracking execution velocity, and removing operational dependencies. Operating in a highly collaborative environment, this position translates high-level strategic objectives into structured execution plans. The role ensures that product delivery remains aligned with engineering capacities, mitigating risks before they impact ship dates.
Key Responsibilities
- Define program roadmaps, dependencies, and resource allocations for cross-functional engineering and product initiatives
- Establish and run weekly syncs, sprint planning, and retrospectives using Jira and Confluence to ensure delivery alignment
- Identify critical-path risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep engineering projects on schedule
- Standardize program management frameworks, templates, and documentation standards across the engineering organization
- Define, track, and report on key execution metrics and velocity KPIs to engineering leadership and executive stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and integrate third-party technical deliverables into internal product timelines
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of experience as a Program Manager or Technical Project Manager within a scaling software engineering environment
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical migrations or software development lifecycles (SDLC)
- Expert-level proficiency with agile project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Asana
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to query data and build performance dashboards using SQL and Tableau
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: PMP, CSM, or equivalent agile certifications; experience working in remote-first environments
