Program Manager
About the role
The Residential Program Manager at Community Options, Inc. oversees a team providing person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include managing staff schedules, communicating with families, ensuring program documentation, and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing
- Support team performance through communication, training, performance management, meetings, and recognition
- Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum
- Communicate with families and guardians as needed
- Ensure individuals receive support according to their Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Personal Care Plans (PCPs)
- Monitor health and medical needs, reporting any concerns immediately
- Manage relationships with families and guardians
- Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Handle additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Qualifications

$55,000/year
Schedule
