About the role

Capital Group’s Enterprise Change Office (ECO) is made up of 140+ dedicated initiative delivery and practice experts that lead initiatives by business domain including Product, Sales and Marketing, Global Business Services, Investment Operations, and Information Technology. You ensure the right solution for the business problem at hand and address challenges at their core. You contribute to the development of products, services, and experiences that disrupt markets, generate value, and positively impact millions of lives.

As a Program Manager in ECO, you will drive delivery of large and complex initiatives and will be expected to lead with an influential point of view. Your scope will include a range of projects– inclusive of business, technology and organizational change efforts with a strong focus on technology sponsored initiatives. You will ensure each initiative has clear outcomes, and is setup (e.g. resources, methodology, governance) optimally for success. You will successfully navigate a complex environment with project teams, business partners, leadership, external parties, and other stakeholders to deliver on Capital’s business priorities. You will act as a resource for business contacts regarding initiative delivery and change capabilities and contribute to the development of the Enterprise Change Office.

Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery of large and complex initiatives, leading with an influential point of view.

  • Navigate a complex environment involving project teams, business partners, leadership, external parties, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a resource for business contacts regarding initiative delivery and change capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of the Enterprise Change Office.

Requirements

  • Experience independently leading large/complex business and technology initiatives.
  • Asset management experience; ideally, experience delivering technology-related change with broad business/organizational impacts.
  • Transformational leadership skills, engaging and inspiring others to achieve meaningful results.
  • Ability to influence at the Director Level and above.
  • Strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, process improvement, change management, etc.).
  • Ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute work.
  • Skilled communicator with a high value on authenticity, respect, and engagement.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to influence a variety of personalities.
  • Passion or proven track record in people development.
  • Flexibility and agility to thrive working with people at all levels and across all functional areas.
  • Consider long-term impacts when developing a vision and commit to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints.

Pay

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $153,842–$246,147. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
