Program Manager (Aerospace)

As a member of our team at Exotic Metals Forming Division (EMFD), you will manage and resolve technical and contractual problems on specific new aerospace projects of moderate scope. You will work closely with customers and internal personnel, typically with the support of a mentor, and refer to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance. EMFD blends a passion for manufacturing with relentless customer support, making us the partner of choice for complex aerospace solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary customer contact and establish customer rapport to facilitate company objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Lead proposal development and negotiation for new business within established guidelines.
- Coordinate gathering and technical analysis of customer requirements.
- Provide general coordination, timelines, and objectives for Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing, QA, and Support organizations.
- Participate in or develop mechanisms for establishing, monitoring, and integrating project elements, product configuration, and communications concerning change management processes and decisions.
- Negotiate project changes and incorporate changes into project control systems to maintain work statements, cost, and schedule baselines.
- Transition projects to production and to the Marketing administrator.
- Perform project close-out and document lessons learned.
- Research and identify program forecasts, program and/or customer funding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field.
- Experience with military, defense, and/or government business clients.
- Project Management experience (PMP Certification is a plus).
- Experience working with multiple cross-functional groups within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and frequently use hands to operate a computer and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
- Regular attendance and ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others and members of the public.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Overnight long-distance travel may be required.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or other appropriate status in accord with U.S. import and export regulations.

Pay
Pay Range: $106,490 to $177,635 annually
Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
