Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall cost, schedule, and performance management
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Execution of Contract
- Primary Point of Contact (POC) to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) / Technical Point of Contact (TPOC)
- Staffing contracts in accordance with customer requirements
- On-boarding project indoctrination for each team member
- Employee relationship management
- Maintain Staffing Plan that assigns personnel to tasks
- Schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring
- Contract deliverables development, approval workflow, and submittal to Contracts
- Ensure compliance with customer facing contractual provisions
- Overall responsibility for contract quality management plan
- Quality of the associated project deliverables
- Collaborates with other functional areas leads to provide overall strategic perspectives
- Perform more complex analytical and evaluative work
- Develop briefs and presentations on technical status, staffing, and funds execution and planning
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes financial, project, and cost data
- Trains team members on Navy Working Capital Fund, financial and business management processes, and specific Division processes
- Analyzes actual performance data and identifies trends, variances, or deficiencies from planned goals and projects
- Develops, implements, and enforces procedures and programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program
Qualifications
- At least ten (10) years relevant experience with DoD/Navy program/project management, Government technical management, or industry management experience
- At least eight (8) year’s total of supervisory experience are required, of which five (5) of the most recent years of employment must have been directly supporting project management
- Secret Clearance
- Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Must have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions
Education
- Master’s degree in engineering or an engineering discipline; a technical discipline; business or a business discipline; or computer science or IT discipline
- Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable job functions may be substituted for a master’s degree
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
