About the role
Lifeworks is seeking a Residential Program Manager to oversee a home for adults with Intellectual Disabilities. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits in a supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Assists with all hands-on direct care including showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, and meal-time assistance
- Handles all aspects of staffing, including scheduling, on-call, training, supervision, and relationship management
- Develops and implements Individual Service Plans (ISPs), schedules medical appointments, and conducts program and clinical reviews
- Completes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks such as staff payroll, updating manuals, approving and reconciling petty cash funds, house accounts, and representative payee accounts
- Teaches activities of daily living, including social skills, personal routines, and financial management
- Serves as a liaison between the agency and the individual’s family, friends, and guardians
- Implements and oversees the implementation of behavioral interventions and emergency procedures ensuring the safety of residents
- Administers and documents the timely and accurate administration of medication(s)
- Maintains a physically safe work environment and reports incidents to Human Resources
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Experience managing a group home
- Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; related experience preferred
- Must pass fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC, and driving background checks
- Valid driver's license required
- Valid MAP certification or willingness to obtain certification within three months of employment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
