Key Responsibilities, But Not Limited To

  • Create and manage content for websites, social media platforms, newsletters, recruitment materials, and other communication channels.
  • Develop and implement student recruitment plans, including open houses, campus visits, college fairs, community outreach events, and virtual information sessions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate student engagement events, including orientations, networking opportunities (Research Days and Lecturer series), scholarship and recognition ceremonies, and special events (HHP Games).
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to highlight program accomplishments, student success stories, research activities, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment, enrollment, and engagement metrics to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Manage departmental branding initiatives and ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across platforms.
  • Develop and support alumni engagement initiatives, including alumni events, networking opportunities, and communications designed to strengthen alumni connections with the department.
  • Manage special projects and initiatives that advance departmental priorities and student success outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Higher Education Administration, Event Management, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Three years of professional experience in marketing, recruitment, student affairs, event management, communications, alumni relations, or higher education outreach.
  • Experience in higher education recruitment, enrollment management, or student engagement.
  • Experience with social media management, digital marketing, and content development.

The Program Manager will develop and implement strategic marketing, recruitment, student engagement, and alumni outreach initiatives that increase awareness of undergraduate and graduate programs within the Department of Health and Human Performance. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners to strengthen enrollment pipelines, support student success, cultivate alumni engagement, and foster a vibrant departmental community.
