About the role

The Sanctum™ Counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) team is seeking an experienced program manager to lead cross-functional teams through the identification, pursuit, start-up, and delivery of strategic campaign initiatives. This role focuses on deterring and defending against drone incursions, addressing a critical and rapidly expanding global need.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition or disciplinary actions.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms.
  • Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
  • Develop new business or expand product lines with customers.
  • Establish milestones, monitor adherence to master plans, identify program problems, and obtain solutions (e.g., resource allocation or contractual changes).
  • Direct employees from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas assigned to the program.
  • Lead the pursuit of strategic and operational opportunities aligned with business strategy, including campaigns for CRAD, development programs, and production contracts.
  • Collaborate with customers on SOW development, contract modifications, and schedule integration.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex system and technology development programs across geographically dispersed locations, including multiple external partners and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed, and virtual teams.
  • Experience working within matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs.
  • Strong customer collaboration experience, particularly in SOW development, contract modification, and schedule integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with the assignment.

Desired Skills

  • Partnership with business development and capture leaders to cultivate future contract opportunities expanding existing product lines.
  • Experience with accelerated acquisition and procurement processes, as well as transitioning developmental technology into production.
  • Business acumen in Earned Value Management, contract negotiations, performance metrics, and portfolio management.
  • Experience with new business capture milestones, proposals, and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, if needed.

Pay

Full-time salary ranges by GeoZone (geographic groupings aligned with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences):

  • GeoZone 1: $228,100.00 - $423,700.00 (e.g., Sunnyvale, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, NJ).
  • GeoZone 2: $205,300.00 - $381,300.00 (e.g., Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT).
  • GeoZone 3: $182,500.00 - $338,900.00 (e.g., Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Marietta, GA).
  • GeoZone 4: $164,200.00 - $305,000.00 (e.g., Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL).

Salary is determined by factors including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations.

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per month for incidental absences and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date.
