About the Role

Lead high-visibility programmatic efforts for a critical Department of War cybersecurity program. Manage the full lifecycle of key initiatives, from planning and requirements definition to execution and delivery. Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met on schedule. Oversee system testing activities and provide mentorship to junior staff members. Travel within the U.S. when necessary to accommodate client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-visibility programmatic efforts for a critical Department of War cybersecurity program
  • Manage the full lifecycle of key initiatives, from planning and requirements definition to execution and delivery
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met on schedule
  • Oversee system testing activities
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff members
  • Travel within the U.S. when necessary to accommodate client needs (up to 20%)

Requirements

  • Experience leading programmatic or technical meetings with senior-level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of project and schedule management, including developing and tracking timelines and budgets
  • Ability to draft, edit, and perform quality control on complex technical documentation
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in cleared facilities
  • Experience with government configuration management or program management software
  • Experience in the U.S. Military
  • Knowledge of Navy-specific systems engineering and installation processes
  • Knowledge of cryptographic equipment or secure communications systems
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process or DAWIA framework
  • Ability to mentor and provide informal oversight to junior staff members
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
