About the role

The Program Manager at L3Harris is responsible for directing all phases of programs from inception through completion. They drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives, manage sustainment of SIGINT technology, and coordinate proposal development.

Responsibilities

  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
  • Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
  • Manages sustainment of SIGINT technology for integrated or podded platform applications and/or design, integration, and installation services for aircraft programs
  • Establish and execute program plans in a mixed contract construct (T&M/FFP/CPFF)
  • Communicate within the team, upward with internal executive leadership, and externally with the customer to influence stakeholders for business success
  • Collaborate with the functional organizations to ensure all resources are available, capable, and empowered to meet program goals
  • Foster a collaborative environment to support problem-solving and innovative solutions
  • Ensure timely deliveries to meet customer requirements
  • Develop management control systems to facilitate financial planning and cost analysis
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project delays or issues
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget
  • Develop and manage project cost accounts, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting
  • Track project cost performance and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs
  • Up to 15% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related experience
  • Familiarity with Defense and Aerospace industry
  • Experience with DoD contract execution
  • Prior successful program leadership role including demonstrated risk/opportunity and change management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage and analyze budgets and cost controls
  • Proposal management experience
  • Risk and Opportunity management
  • Experience managing Field Service Representatives
  • Understanding of Cost & Schedule integration or full EVMS methodology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
