Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support effective program execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish program performance metrics, clarify priorities, and develop management plans to achieve budget, schedule, technical, and business objectives.
  • Use program management tools to monitor, analyze, and report performance against contract requirements, forecasts, and internal goals.
  • Carefully coordinate cross-functional program activities and support timely, informed decision-making across stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver clear presentations, status updates, and recommendations to senior Program Managers, company leadership, and customers as needed.
  • Identify, assess, and manage program risks, issues, and opportunities, and lead resolution efforts through closure.
  • Track and report key program indicators, including schedule performance, cost performance, Estimate at Completion (EAC), sales, profit, and overall contract execution.
  • Lead or participate in Integrated Product Teams to drive program execution, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and eliminate non-value-added costs.
  • Manage technical, production, and execution challenges that may impact program performance, and coordinate corrective actions with functional teams.
  • Negotiate proposal and program elements such as cost, fee, payment terms, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions.
  • Manage assigned programs to meet contractual and internal commitments for schedule, performance, and budget.
  • Communicate program requirements and resource needs across Engineering, Finance, Quality, Material Control, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other functions to ensure aligned execution.
  • Develop, review, and support customer funding requests and proposal activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience in Test and/or Operations Management
  • Proficiency in schedule planning and management
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing environments
