Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative and creative workshops & activities.
- Supervise participants and always ensure their safety and welfare.
- Participate in field trips and out of building activities.
- Work cooperatively with other staff.
- Acquaint participants with rules, activities, daily schedules and program routines.
- Interact and communicate with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up.
- Affiliate in organizing projects, events and special events.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly used and maintained.
- Attend and complete all staff paperwork and training.
- Follow pre-planned schedules and arrive on time to set activities.
- Report all injuries immediately and fill out appropriate forms.
- Affiliate in assisting in meeting and maintaining YMCA standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age (at least 4 years older than teen in program).
- Demonstrate maturity, good judgement, previous camp experience, or experience working with groups of children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-Lingual.
- Experience working with middle and high school age youth.

Rate of pay: $15.00. Final compensation is based on factors such as the skills, qualifications, and experience.
