About the role
Responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management and oversight of assigned programs. Coordinates and supervises with faculty and staff. Accountable for the fiscal management, administration, and coordination of programs.
Responsibilities
- Develops long-range goals, objectives, priorities, and recommendations.
- Makes sure various projects are effective and comply with regulations.
- Liaises with outside agencies or community leaders for programs and services.
- Shares program information internally.
- Consults and advises within areas of expertise.
- Advises students and faculty on departmental issues and requirements.
- Assists instructors with specific needs as needed.
- Responds to inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding policies and procedures.
- Participates in various meetings and committees.
- Promotes available student courses and programs and identifies specific target students.
- Guides, leads, reviews, verifies, observes, and manages the work of people reporting directly to you.
- Collaborates in coordinating the activities of one or more staff members.
- Supports student workers, part-time, full-time, temporary, and volunteers.
- Analyzes and interprets data regularly available on programs and performance.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Four years of related experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications
- Skilled in delivering a high level of customer service
- Attention to detail while managing effective time and task management
- Ability to implement and manage programs
- Interacts positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
- Organizes and prioritizes multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
- Effectively communicates verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, builds relationships, and manages customer expectations
- Identifies, writes, and prepares related curriculum, instructor guides, student guides, handouts, and other associated materials for classroom delivery and to promote the program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Related experience in trades programs
- Earned Industry-recognized credential in AWS, NIMS, HVAC Excellence, NCCER, or other trades related credential

Pay
This job starts at $53,677.00 annually; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
