About the role
The Program Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the development of Cleveland Clinic’s PEM fellowship. This position offers the rare opportunity to build a program from the ground up, mentor future leaders in pediatric emergency medicine, and contribute to a nationally respected academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the PEM fellowship program
- Ensure full compliance with ACGME accreditation requirements and standards
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate fellows in both clinical and scholarly activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance pediatric emergency care
- Design, implement, and continuously evaluate curriculum and educational outcomes
Qualifications
- Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Demonstrated leadership experience within academic medicine or graduate medical education
- Strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and faculty development
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
